I believe we hinted in the past that The Underside of Power was originally going to be finished and mixed by the musician Ben Frost. This did not end up happening for a variety of reasons, mostly all of the normal ones related to making music and the record industry (i.e. time & money).

We did get a few test mixes back from him that were awesome and completely different from the versions of the songs that made the record. We’ve been trying to share them in this space with you for ages and had hoped to include them on some sort of rarities compilation. Unfortunately, we were never able to get approval from him or his management. We also didn’t get a NO either. So until we do and are forced to take them down, here are those mixes for your ears only. Enjoy!
