about

This was one of the greatest shows in the 5 year touring history of the band. After a legendary and triumphant show at Paris' famed La Maroquinerie at the end of 2017, Algiers return to the venue with another energetic crowd that would not let them leave the stage. The full concert clocks in as one of the longest that the band has ever played, right around 2 hours. Unfortunately, the Tascam recorder audio from that evening has been lost and this compilation has been gathered from a number of different sources. We're still missing the audio for 2 songs, but we're putting what we have up here for posterity's sake. The set itself included 2 different encores, the first one included a rare Adverts cover that found Ayse Hassan of Savages and Esya fronting the band for one song.

about

Algiers Atlanta, Georgia

Algiers is a band of musicians born in Atlanta, Georgia, the rotten hub of the Ol’ American South, where W.E.B. Dubois once saw a riot goin’ on, and where the hell and highwater swirls ‘round to the knees.
